Mercy Blade by Faith Hunter

IT'S NOT MERCY KILLING IS THEY FIGHT BACK...
"Jane Yellowrock is a shape-shifting skinwalker − and a vampire killer for hire. But lately she’s found herself taking blood money from the very vampires she used to hunt... Things are heating up in the Big Easy. Weres have announced their existence tot he world, and revived the bitter tensions that run between them and their old enemies: vampires. As a trusted employee of Leo Pellissier, Blood Master of the City, Jane finds herself caught in the cross fire. When Jane is attacked by a pack of marauding were-wolves, she is thankful for the help of a mysterious stranger named Girrard. He explains that he used to be Leo’s “Mercy Blade,” a sacred position charged with killing vampires who have gone insane. What Jane doesn’t know is why this powerful assassin left New Orleans − or, more troubling, why he’s now returned. It’s definitely not to make Jane’s life easier"
okay it took me long to get to read this story i know!! but the thing about this story is that is good, but only when she has almost everything find out and before that is just not that interesting, i mean it is because is how she get there right is just i like it when she has everything work out because i get it, before that i sure not have a clue was going on. i want it to see a little more action between her and Leo, that of course is my favorite character in this series and i want her with him, is funny really but they could make a great couple ( just wishing thinking, and putting it out there please Faith see these).
so this book has newcomers!! yeah, i like that, and not all of them bad, but some of the are nuts and the other no so much but closed and all foe come back you know the usual, but all good at the end or at least almost is. of course by the end of the book i want to know more and i think is what really matter if you want to read the next book, the next chapter to the story, the next idea/adventure etc. thinking this in my book is that she is doing her job.
the book is full of animalistic impulses and the true about our main character is coming close to be found out, because everyone want to find out what she is, and i think in some way we would get to see when that happen, i have a feeling Leo is going to be very interesting in what is going to happen to her, now that is finally coming back to himself. DID I SAY I LIKE HIM.
the book was okay like i say the body is not the best, because for me it get only good when she has almost everything and the book is about to end, so i just end up want it to read the next book and that it, until next book.
Faith Hunter has a great idea for her book the manipulation of information the double personality, conflicted and war/history in the book make it interesting to read.
let see what the next book is bringing to us.
have fun and keep reading
